New Delhi: A day after Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar attacked his Gujarat Chief counterpart Narendra Modi over his claims that he rescued 15,000 Gujaratis from flood ravaged Uttarakhand, Congress general secretary Digvijay Singh on Tuesday mocked the BJP strongman by calling him a ‘feku’.

"There is a report that within two days he has evacuated 15,000 pilgrims, while the fact is the Gujarat website says that the figure was about 600. Again there was a news item that he has offered 28 helicopters which again was denied by the official statement of the Gujarat government. So, therefore he is rightly called a ‘feku'," he said.

On Monday, Nitish Kumar had said, “I am not a Rambo type of personality. I do not have that kind of potential.”

Amid reports that Modi had rescued 15,000 Gujarati pilgrims from Uttarakhand in a single day, Congress had scoffed at the claim, dubbing the BJP leader 'Rambo'. BJP leaders had later stated that Modi had never made any such claim.
