He said the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and Kejriwal should not interfere in the functioning of Delhi Police, and added that the bureaucrat-turned-activist-turned politician must realize that no government can be run by staging dharnas.

“Kejriwal must understand that a government is run through Assemblies or Parliament and not on the streets of any city,” he said.

Digvijay said the ruling AAP should not interfere in the functioning of Delhi Police.

Kejriwal and his Ministers began a dharna outside the Rail Bhavan here on Monday afternoon demanding action against police officials who refused to carry out a raid on an alleged drug and prostitution racket in South Delhi last week.

The Chief Minister demanded immediate suspension of the ‘corrupt’ officials.
