Ghaziabad: The Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) is likely to start Special Purpose Vehicle soon after the completion of action plan of city bus services. Under this service, city buses will ply between Ghaziabad, Noida and Greater Noida.

Uttar Pradesh Transport Corporation, Manager Alok Kumar will meet GDA Chairman Santosh Kumar Yadav in this regard on December 13.

Santosh Kumar Yadav said that the Noida and Greater Noida authorities each will bear 35 percent cost incurred on its expenditure, whereas the shares of GDA and Uttar Pradesh Transport Corporation are 20 and 10 percent respectively.

He further stated that Greater Noida Development Authority Officer on Special Duty, Yogendra Singh Yadav had sought participation of GDA in starting bus services to Ghaziabad. GDA will run 25 buses in metropolitan area from 26 January.
