The report said Lenovo A7000 will give good competition to Micromax's Yu Yureka and Xiaomi's Redmi Note. Lenovo's A7000 gets exclusive Dolby Atmos Technology, making it the first commercial handset in line to get the Dolby Atmos Technology.

The Lenovo A7000 sports a 5.5" HD IPS display with 1280 X 720 pixels resolution and is powered by 1.5 GHz MediaTek MT6752m Octa-Core processor backed by 2GB of RAM. The smartphone features a 8 GB internal storage capacity which can be expanded through MicroSD card.

The smartphone sports a 8 MP rear camera with dual LED flash and a 5 MP front-facing shooter. The Lenovo A7000 gets its power from a 2900 mAh Li-Pol battery and weighs 140 grams. Lenovo puts the description for its upcoming device in a very interesting way, “built for entertainment on a budget.”

The dual SIM device is equipped with two micro SIM slots and also offers 4G LTE connectivity. The new A7000 smartphone runs on Lenovo's Vibe User Interface built on Android Lollipop, making the it perform well without any unnecessary jitters.

The new entrant will be exclusively sold through Flipkart and the buyers will have to enroll into the same flash sales method to purchase the handset, akin to its predecessor, Lenovo A6000.
