"I think it is the best phase of Indian cinema you don't have to be a star kid to survive or get launched in the industry. This is not just for actors but for everyone like directors, writers, lyricists and others," Ayushmann told media.

"I am glad I am here today. If I was born 15 years back, then I don't think I would get chance that a star kid would have got," he said.

After being in the industry for four years, the 31-year-old actor thinks the best part of his profession is that he gets special treatment.

Ayushmann will be seen next in Anand L Rai's home production film 'Manmarziyan' romancing Bhumi Pednekar. And then he is paired opposite Parineeti Chopra in 'Meri Pyaari Bindu' to be produced by Yash Raj Films.
