New Delhi: After an incident of molestation of a minor girl in a cluster bus a couple of days back, the Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) has now initiated to teach moral and ethical values to its drivers and conductors.

The DTC management has organised a special training session for bus staff so that the employees can be aware of traffic rules and more importantly a sense of respect towards female passengers can be instilled in them. The drivers and conductors will also be trained how to ensure safety of women passengers.

A special session has already been started at Nand Nagri DTC depot and is expected to last for seven days.

Zothankhuma, Chief General Manager of Delhi Transport Corporation said, “The drivers and conductors have to deal with thousands of passengers on a daily basis therefore they need to communicate in a good, efficient and humble manner and should also hold respectful gesture.”
