New Delhi: With 2nd cut off list issued by DU authorities on Friday, the race for seeking cancellation of admission forms have also gained momentum in the university. Applicants who have option to seek admission in campus colleges or in colleges situated nearby their residences are opting for cancellation of their admission forms.

As per Dr Vijay Sharma, Principal, Ramlal Anand college, almost 20 students got their admission forms cancelled in different courses on Friday.

In this regard Dr Renu Sahani, Principal of the Vivekanand college, said that her college was receiving forms meant for admission as well as rejection.

Some of them are getting chance to seek admission in IP college as well as in Daulat Ram College after their names figured out in 2nd cut off list.

About 22 girl students got their admission forms cancelled on Friday.  On the other Dr Rajendra Prasad, Principal, Ramjas College said that about 182 applicants were given admission after the college published 2nd cut –off list on Friday.

On the other, Prof Dinesh Varshney, Deputy Dean Student Welfare South Campus has asked applicants not to miss chance to seek admission in different courses who have not figured out in 2nd cut –off list since there is possibility of a number of colleges not publishing 3rd list.

With more and more candidates from OBC quota seeking admissions in different colleges, chances of admission through general quota is becoming dim.
