New Delhi: Monday will be the last day for submitting fees for those students whose names figured in second cut-off for admission in Delhi University colleges. According to the University sources chances of releasing third cutoff lists are very rare for the general category students. College Principals have clearly said that if the cutoff lists will be released than options of getting admissions will be open only for the OBC category students.

Professor Dinesh Varshney, Deputy Dean, Delhi University, South Campus said that the seats for the general category students have already been filled in all the DU colleges for various courses like BA, B.Com, B.Com (Hon.), Economics, Political Science, History, English (Hon.), Sociology, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Micro Biology, Mathematics, Applied Sciences.

Dr. Deepak Malhotra, Principal, Dayal Singh Evening College has said that the seats for the general category students are almost full but students will be given admission by Monday on the basis of second cutoffs. Third cutoff list will be released for the OBC students as the seats are available for the category.

ECA trial to begin from Monday

Delhi University will kick start its Extra-Curricular Activities trial from Monday. Dr, Gurpreet Tuteja, Deputy Dean, Student Welfare, Delhi University, has said that the students who have applied for admissions in ECA category will appear for the trials after looking at the schedule released on its official website.
