The quake measured 3.8 on the Richter Scale. The earthquake were felt for some seconds in several parts of Mandi and nearby districts at 6.34 am, Meteorological Office Director Manmohan Singh told reporters.

There is, however, no report of any damage to life and property from the area so far. The epicentre of the quake was in the Sundernagar area. Further reports are awaited.
