Jaipur: Eminent economists expressed concern over fluctuation of national and international economy, while participating in the second day of 13th International Seminar held at Neemrana Fort Palace in Alwar on Saturday.

Planning Commission Deputy Chairman Montek Singh Ahluwalia gave his inaugural address on Friday, and remained present on Saturday too.

Several eminent economists of both national and international repute participated in the seminar jointly conducted by the National Council of Applied Economic Research (NCAER) and the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBEI).

Ahluwalia, US economist Martin Feldstein, ICRIER Director Parthasarathi Shome, Dr Ishwar Ahluwalia, former Planning Commission member NK Singh, economist Raghuram Rajan, Suman Beri, NIIT founder Rajendra Singh Pawar, Shankar Acharya, Abhijit Banerjee, Anil Kashyap, Pramod Bhasin present their views on economic slowdown during the seminar.
