Chandigarh: Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda on Thursday said the state government was making all efforts to provide rail connection to Mewat district.

Hooda, speaking at a rally in village Neem Khera of the district, said he has planned a road map for development of Mewat district and a big project would be soon launched.

"I need your support, I have a very big project for Mewat in my mind, I would get a rail line in Mewat district,"he said. The Chief Minister said during the previous seven years of the Congress government in the state, Rs 3,024 crore had been spent for development projects in Mewat. However, a lot is still to be done, he added.
