New Delhi: Eight persons have been arrested for brutally beating a chief security officer of a five star hotel in the national capital twelve days back. Bhupendra Nagar, 27, was pulled out from his car and was brutally beaten with iron rods by some unidentified persons on February 13 for not allowing their entry into the hotel.

The police have arrested eight persons including the main accused Rocky and are claiming to have identified a few more people who are supposed to be involved in the incident.

The CCTV footage of the gruesome incident is also available which shows the miscreants breaking the window panes of the victim’s car, dragging him out and beating him on the road with iron roads. However, the police came into action only after the footage was aired on television channels.

According to the police, Bhupendra Nagar, the chief security officer at a five star hotel in Nehru Place was beaten up by some people near Surya Hotel in Friends Colony on February 13. The incident seems to be an act of revenge as Nagar had denied their entry into the hotel on February 11.
The arrested goons are said to be the bouncers of some pubs.

The crime graph in the national capital is soaring up at an alarming rate with the incidences of rape, increasing gun culture and road rages on the rise. Many incidences of rape and crime against women have been reported in several parts of Delhi in recent times which are enough to tell the reality of the security scenario in the national capital.
