The show, said to be based on author Manju Kapoor's novel ‘Custody’, marks Divyanka's comeback along with Cezanne Khan.

"It is ('Mera Tera Rishta Purana') a very good show and I am sure audiences are definitely going to like this show, once it is aired. It's a daily soap, full of drama," Divyanka said on Friday during the rehearsals for a special episode called ‘Beta Hi Chahiye’ for Krishna Janmashtmi.

"For a change, this time I am not doing comedy. It's a unique drama," added Divyanka, who has earlier done comedy shows like "Mrs & Mr Sharma Allahabadwale", "Chintu Chinki Aur Ek Badi Si Love Story" and "Kahani Comedy Circus Ki".

Recent reports have indicated that the show is experiencing difficulty in procuring a slot.
