New Delhi: ESPN STAR Sports has secured exclusive rights to broadcast the Spanish football league for a period of three years.

The broadcaster will bring the audience live action from La Liga for the 2012-13 and 2014-15 seasons on multiple distribution platforms in 18 markets across Asia, apart from the English Premier League.

The deal will enable ESS to broadcast the whole of La Liga providing coverage of up to 380 games across its channels in 18 countries including India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Indonesia, Taiwan, Philippines, Myanmar, Cambodia, Laos, Papua New Guinea, the Maldives, Nepal, Bhutan, North Korea as well as China and South Korea.
