Ranchi: In a surprise disclosure, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat has said that some Congressmen are not just associated with his organization but they are also functioning like Swayamsevaks (RSS cadres). Speaking in Ranchi on Thursday, Bhagwat said, “We do not have any special affection for the BJP. All the political parties are equal for us and RSS has no political ambitions. The organization has affection for all the political parties.”

Bhagwat went on to say that leaders form all the political parties, including Congress and left, are associated with RSS. Our doors are open for all who agree with our ideology. Bhagwat was addressing at an event- Prabuddh Jan Samwad Karyakram- organized by RSS.

Bhagwat further said that politics actually creates divide in the society whereas RSS works for the unity in the society and building character of the people of India. No party is untouchable for RSS.

“If any party seeks our support on any issue and shows respect to our ideology, we will help them. Our Swayamsevaks are associated with many parties but most of them are in BJP which is a reason for why the RSS has comparatively much closer link with that party,” added Bhagwat.

Bhagwat also said that BJP leadership often seek help from RSS on various issues whereas other parties feel ashamed in doing so.

Displaying seriousness on construction of Ram Temple in Ayodhya, Bhagwat said that this would definitely happen one day. He added that the government will be pressed by the means of a mass movement to frame a law allowing construction of the temple. He said that Muslims will also be asked to join the movement. He also appealed the Muslims to attend RSS Shakahs.
