New Delhi: The plight of flood victims in Uttarakhand has moved the people across the country. People from every section of the society are rushing to the rescue of their fellow citizens who have faced the fury of the nature in the hill state.  

Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Nabam Tuki has requested all Congress MLAs of the state to donate their one month's salary to the CM Relief Fund to help and rehabilitate the victims.

Moreover, the DMK also announced a contribution of Rs 25 lakh to the Prime Minister's Relief Fund while Congress MP Ponnam Prabhakar has declared that he will donate Rs 10 lakh for relief work in Uttarakhand.

Besides politico class of the country, Delhi Metro officials and the personnel of country's largest paramilitary force, CRPF, have also announced to contribute a part of their salary to the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund.
