Chandigarh: In an effort to encourage sports, Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda has said that every person should have access to sports facilities which were available in the state. The Chief Minister was presiding over a meeting to discuss the Haryana right to play Bill 2012.

On this occasion, Hooda also directed to constitute a five member committee to discuss the various aspects of this bill.

Among other members who have been included in the committee are Finance Commissioners of sports, Finance, Higher Education departments including Chief Secretary of the state. A presentation on the achievements and activities of youth affairs departments of the State government was also displayed on this occasion. There are 7 chapters in the proposed bill apart from 29 articles.

Sports minister of Punjab, Chief Parliamentary Secretary Prahlad Singh Gillakhera, Chief Secretary PK Chaudhary, Chhatar Singh, PV Rathi Principal advisor to the Chief Minister, Dr KK Khandelwal and Shiv Raman Gaur were also present on the occasion.
