Indore: Jitu Jirati, chief of Madhya Pradesh unit of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha, BJP's youth wing, on Monday said both men and women should "stay within their limits".

Jirati was replying to the question whether the victim's dressing could be blamed for this month's Guwahati molestation incident.

The BJYM chief condemned the incident, and said: "May it be men or women, children or the old, every person should stay within his/her own limits."

"When people cross the limits, there is a problem," he added.

Asked about moral policing, he said India was a democracy and everyone had the right to decide what to wear, etc, but a person should be aware of his/her personal responsibility.

Earlier, Jirati announced that Madhya Pradesh BJYM would be organising a motorbike rally to propagate Swami Vivekanand's thoughts from August 15 to October 15, to mark the spiritual leader's 150th birth anniversary year.
