The DM has been asked to collect details about the shops that were set ablaze by the mob during violence, so that their owners can be compensated.

One person was killed and 25 shops were set on fire during a clash between members of two communities over immersion of Durga idol on October 24, after which curfew was imposed in Faizabad on Thursday.
