Jaipur: Demanding a hike in the Minimum Support Price (MSP) of wheat, farmers affiliated with the farmers’ wing of the BJP on Tuesday took out tractor rally inorder to draw attention of the Central government.

The farmers submitted a memorandum to the Governor that was addressed to the Prime Minister.

The tractor rally began from Udyog Maidan and passed via Rajmahal Palace Hotel and BJP office. Thereafter the delegation submitted a memorandum of their demands to the Governor.

State president of the BJP Kisan Morcha, Sawanr Lal Jaat informed that the party has taken over the issue in its meetings and has decided to demand Rs 1880 per ton MSP for wheat.

The party has decided to hold tractor rally in all the state capitals demanding hike in MSP.
