Jammu (Agencies): Union Minister and Jammu and Kashmir's ruling National Conference leader Farooq Abdullah on Saturday said there is no question of rotation of chief ministership from his party to coalition partner Congress after 3 years.

He said there had been speculation for quite some time that "there is going to be a change of guard and after three years power will go to the other (Congress) side".

"But the issue was finalised on the very first day of the coalition started", Abdullah told reporters here adding the alliance should be more concerned with working together and not against each other in coming budget session.

"There is no question of change of Chief Minister in three years' time. It will stay as it is", he said.

"There is no change on the issue as far as the High Command in New Delhi is concerned and we here are concerned", he said.

He said NC Legislative party will meet on February 21 to chart out the course of line and strategy for the next Assembly session.

Ruling out division of the state on regional lines, the Union Minister said the state would be one entity and Jammu, Ladakh and Kashmir will be one unit.
