New Delhi: The fate of alliance between Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) and Congress seems to have landed in limbo. As assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh are round the corner, delay in the declaration of seat and his non-inclusion in Union Cabinet is irking RLD leader Ajit Singh.

It is due to this reason Ajit Singh has decided to declare the first list of its party candidates especially on undisputed seats. Despite the assurances given by the Congress General Secretary Digvijay Singh regarding the alliance, both the parties have not yet formed consensus over seat sharing.

According to sources, in earlier deliberations between the two leaders there was no agreement over one or two assembly seats. More so, considering his stronghold in weastern UP and position in political arena Singh has now demanded an important ministry in the Cabinet.
