Moura, 36, who captained top Brazilian side Flamengo in the past had represented the Brazilian national team in a friendly against Ireland.

He has represented all four of Rio de Janeiro's big clubs which include Botafogo, Vasco, Fluminense and Flamengo. He spent 10 years at Flamengo, whom he also captained and made 312 club appearances.

FC Goa open their campaign in the second edition of the ISL with a home game against Delhi Dynamos at the Nehru Stadium in Fatorda on October 4.
