This version of Linea, which is cheaper than the original, is primarily being rolled out for cab service operators who want a proper C segment sedan for a price that would please their pockets.

The Linea Classic being the cheaper version of the regular Linea looses out on a few features such as 15-inch alloy wheels and instead it adds 14-inch steel rims. It will come without the steering mounted controls and climate control found in the original Linea.

Linea Classic comes with a 1.3 liter multijet diesel motor with is used in Punto. The car is also available in 1.4 liter 90 Bhp petrol motor  variant. It is expected to be Rs 50,000-70,000 lower than the regular Linea.
