The film did an average business in its first weekend as it collected Rs.19.9 crore nett in India and 1.6 million dollars from the overseas market. The film had a good run at the multiplexes. It managed to collect Rs2.5 crore on the crucial Monday proving that the audiences had loved the film.


Finding Fanny has been made with a budget of Rs 37 crore and is directed by Homi Adajania who directed Cocktail also starring Deepika Padukone. Homi Adajania is well-known for directing the critically acclaimed Being Cyrus starring Saif Ali Khan. Finding Fanny is an English language film, however, a Hindi version is also running in theatres. The film received positive reviews from both critics and audience, however it could not leave a strong mark at the Box Office.

According to reports, Finding Fanny had higher collections than Bipasha Basu starrer Creature 3D on its opening day despite lower screen count. Starring Deepika Padukone, Arjun Kapoor, Dimple Kapadia, Pankaj Kapur and Naseeruddin Shah in lead roles, it was presented by Fox Star Studios and produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films.
