Rejecting the bail pleas of Golu Singh and his associate Yashpal Singh, Chief Judicial Magistrate Ajay Raghuvanshi yesterday sent the duo to judicial custody.
They have been charged with firing at Congress workers on the evening of April 7, in which five people had got injured. The duo was arrested in Mathura on Friday and produced in the court yesterday evening.
The police had declared an award of Rs 5,000 for anyone giving information about the duo.

A special team of Uttar Pradesh Police nabbed Golu, son of the BJP MLA from Bargi constituency, and his five co-conspirators from the Golden Temple Express which was going to Jabalpur from Delhi.
