According to a source, "The film was already over budget and the permission to shoot in Kashmir was obtained with a lot of difficulty. Now re-shooting will not only add to budget issues, but also getting the similar effect in terms of weather which will also be a huge challenge."

While director Abhishek Kapoor remained unavailable for comment, the production house, UTV's spokesperson chose to only speak about the Mumbai schedule. He says, "The Mumbai schedule is well on track. We are currently shooting at a studio and will be here for another 25 days, so there is no question of any permission."

Sources close to the makers said Tabu, who has already started shooting, needs to re-shoot only two days worth of content which was earlier shot with Rekha.“The sequences shot with Rekha exceeded two days. The first schedule of the film ended in January this year,” it added.
