The girls, aged between 15 and 17 years and hailing from Gajapati and Kandhamal districts, were rescued by activists of an NGO and GRP. Two persons were picked up from the railway station while they were waiting for a train to take the girls to Goa, he said.
    
The girls were rescued when the NGO 'Childline' got information about the trafficking of the girls, stated its Berhampur Director Sudhir Sabat. The rescued girls were now in the custody of the NGO on the direction of the Child Welfare Committee, Ganjam, he added.
