Narnaul: The half-hearted sporting gesture of the Haryana Government is bearing no fruit in promoting sports and young talent in the state. Five sports stadiums constructed in the rural areas of Narnaul district are still waiting for coaches and trainers.

One of the five sports stadiums - Subhash Chandra Bose Stadium, constructed in the district headquarter has some trainers, but only for Athletics, Volleyball, Wrestling and Yoga.
As trainers for other sports like Badminton, Table Tennis and Tennis have not been appointed, the Yoga coach has been burdened with the additional charge of District Sports Officer.

The wastage of money can be easily gauged by the fact that in absence of a trainer, the Synthetic Tennis Turf, which cost Rs 12.50 lakh always remains closed.
