New Delhi: World champion M C Mary Kom struck gold medal in the Asian Cup Women’s Boxing tournament in Haikou, China after defeating Asian champion Kim Myong Sim of North Korea 4-3 in the final.

Playing her first tournament since her bronze medal at the Guangzhou Asian Games-2010, Mary Kom, who is a mother of two, had made a place in the last two of her weight division (48 kg) after drubbing Kate Appari of Philippines.
