Mohali: There are speculations that the police may get some vital clues about Anuradha Bali alias Fiza Mohammad’s death after police starts searches into her bank lockers on Thursday. Notably, she maintained lockers in three different banks of Chandigarh.

According to sources, after completing all formalities police has started quizzing officials posted at the concerned bank headquarters and also interrogated some income tax officials on Thursday.

Remarkably, the police had recovered cash worth Rs 92, 86,160 including 1.5 kilos of gold. It also includes silver ornaments weighing nearly about one kilogram from her residence at Mohali. Apart from this the police have also claimed that Rs 28.50 lakh being stashed in her bank accounts and in post offices.

The police is also searching her eight bank accounts along with three bank lockers which she maintained in Punjab and Sindh bank located in sector 47-D , State Bank of India sector 30 , State Bank of Patiala located in Chandigarh High Court premises, State Bank of India (SBI) sector-33 , including one in sector-30 post office in the city.

In this regard, head of special investigation team, SP Swarandeep Singh, who is also the city ASP, said that the formalities of probe into Fiza’s bank lockers have been completed and it may start on September 13.

Police suspects that she might have left some proof or will in her lockers.

According to sources, the police have completed all formalities after interrogating income tax officials. Now it is expected that it may look into these lockers on September 13 as police suspects that Fiza might have left some proof or will in her will she wrote before her mysterious death.
