The Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita - one of only two of its kind in the entire world, goes from 0-60 in 2.9 seconds and can reach a top speed of 250 miles per hour.

But don't call it a 'super car' -- Floyd says it's technically a 'Hyper car'. Yeah ... you drop USD 5 million on a car, you can call it whatever you want.

The American pro boxer, nicknamed the 'Money Man', posted a picture of himself sat on the bonnet of the silver Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita.

The caption uploaded alongside the image says - 'My new 4.8 million dollar car.'

He added: 'Koenigsegg made only two Trevita's for the world and this is No.2 of 2.'

The car will add to his USD 54 million collection of 'toys', which includes three Ferraris, a Porsche, a Lamborghini, three Bugattis and a USD 47m Gulfstream V private jet.

Mayweather is one of the highest-paid sportspersons in the world, earning around USD 300m a year.
