Sagar: Among those praying for the quick recovery of Yuvraj Singh, undergoing chemotherapy in the United States for the malignant lung tumour, is a noted folk singer from Bundelkhand region who has composed an 'Alaah' (song for warriors) in praise of the cricketer with a hope that it will help him get better.

"Large number of Yuvi's fans are praying for him by visiting religious places. I'm singing an 'Alaah' highlighting his qualities and his memorable innings, especially those played during last year's World Cup. It is my humble prayer for his well-being," said singer Hargovind Vishwa.

The die-hard fan of Yuvraj says that while singing the 'Alaah', he believes that the cricketer is listening to it and will emerge victorious in his battle against the disease.

In the Bundelkhand region, 'Alaah' is being sung for warriors who go on a war since the past 800 years.

The 30-year-old cricketer today revealed that the malignant lung tumour is "almost out of his system" after the first cycle of treatment.
