Spa-Francorchamps (Belgium): Force India's Nico Hulkenberg and Paul di Resta warmed up for Sunday's Belgian Grand Prix in style, setting the eighth and ninth fastest time in the second practice session here on Friday.

Hulkenberg, standing in for seasoned Adrian Sutil, finished eighth with the fastest lap time of 1m 51.725s, just ahead of di Resta, who clocked 1m 51.751s to finish ninth as the weather did its best to disrupt the proceedings.

Sutil, who took part in the team's first practice session on Thursday, had managed sixth place finish clocking 2:04.663s while Resta came disappointing 20th with 2:13.058s.

Mark Webber set the pace for Red Bull with a lap of 1m 50.321s ahead of Ferrari's Fernando Alonso, who clocked 1m 50.461s, and the McLaren duo of Jenson Button (1m 50.770s) and Lewis Hamilton (1m 50.838s).

Ferarri's Felipe Massa was the fifth fastest with a timing of 1m 51.218s, followed by Mercedes' Nico Rosberg (1m 51.242s).
