Srinagar: The former militants have distanced themselves from the mainstream of society in Jammu & Kashmir and again returned to the path of terror and violence.
Alarmed at such a dangerous trend of the militants, the state police have decided to prepare a proposal for rehabilitation and forgiveness of the militants.

Many cases of ex-militants’ returning to the criminal world have come to light. They participate in terror activities and kill innocent people for money, sources said.

A senior police officer said, “The department is concerned over the suspicious activities of the released militants. Many of them are posing a threat to the law and order of the state. We are working on a strategy to deal with the issue.”
