New Delhi: A former chairman of the telecom regulator on Wednesday appeared before a Parliamentary panel looking into the 2G case.

Nripendra Mishra, who was TRAI Chief between March, 2006 and March 2009, appeared before Joint parliamentary Committee on 2G.

This was Mishra's second appearance before the Committee as he had earlier desposed before it as former DoT secretary.

Mishra made a brief presentation before the panel on 2G licences and the government's telecom policies.

The meeting, which lasted barely 15 minutes, had to be ended as Parliament's Budget Session was to be adjourned sine die and several members had to leave for their constituencies.

The cross examination of Mishra will take place on May 29 after he completes his presentation.
