Chandigarh: Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda would lay the foundation stone of Rs 400 crore project Kalpana Chawla Medical College (KCMC) in Karnal on November 18, Congress MP from Rohtak, Deepender Singh Hooda said on Monday.

The Chief Minister would also address a public meeting there in this connection.

Hooda also informed that four new medical colleges in Khanpur Kalan, Sonipat, Mewat and Faridabad will be set up soon at a cost of Rs. 1300 crore.

Deepender further said that under the leadership of Chief Minister, significant efforts have been made to increase the power generation . He also opined that a nuclear power plant would be set up in village Gorakhpur in Fatehabad district.

The MP counted that with an aim to give boost to quality education, Rajiv Gandhi Education City was being set up at Kundli in Sonipat where educational institutes of international level would come up under one roof.
