Four other passengers of the car suffered serious injuries in the accident, the police said.
The mishap took place at around 7:30 am when 14 people, from Bhoopalpalli village in Warangal district, were returning home after offering prayers at the Saibaba temple in Shirdi, they said.
When their vehicle reached the outskirts of Medipalli village, located around 60 km away from Karminagar, the driver lost control of the vehicle following which it rammed into a roadside tree.
Four passengers of the ill-fated car died on the spot, police said, adding the deceased were yet to be identified.
The four seriously injured included the car driver and two children.
The injured have been admitted to government hospital at Jagtial while the bodies have been sent for postmortem.
A case has been registered in this regard.
