Ramban: Four persons were killed in two separate mishaps on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway in Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir.
A truck, which was on its way from Jammu to Srinagar, skidded off the road and rolled down into a 200-feet deep gorge on Jammu-Srinagar Highway at Chamalwas in Ramban district early today, SSP Ramban Anil Magotra said. Three persons died in the mishap and their bodies have been recovered, he said.
In another mishap, a man identified as Rattan Singh Raj, was crushed to death by truck on the highway at Ramban, he added.
