Rourkela: Four hardcore Maoists from Jharkhand were arrested and a landmine and wires were seized in Odisha's Sundargarh district, police said on Friday.

The Maoists were nabbed from Kaliaposh area under Bisra police station bordering Saranda forests, about 40 km from here last night, Rourkela Superintendent of Police, Himansu Lal said.

They were arrested during a special operation by the police, CRPF and district voluntary force while planning to plant the landmine.
