New Delhi:  After months of investigation into the fake marksheet scam in Ramjas College of Delhi University, Delhi Police on Monday has arrested four more people including a NSUI’s state president and an ex-office assistant of the college.

The arrested persons have been identified as NSUI leader Vardhan Choudhary, Ramjas College’s ex-assistant Raje Singh, ex-student of the college Kuldeep Khapra and Ashwani Rajput of Aurbindo College student.

DCP of North, IB Rani said, “Vardhan Choudhary has played a crucial role in getting admissions done on fake marksheets. His role in the scam has been unearthed recently after police interrogated Anurag Sharma, who was arrested earlier.”

Notably, the Delhi Police had earlier arrested eight people including Ramjas College lab assistant Suresh Chand. The Police have registered 35 cases in this regard so far. According to the police, some more student leaders are likely to be arrested in this connection.
