Currently, the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge phablet has a separate screen on the edge of phone equivalent to breadth of a pencil and runs parallel along with screen. This screen can display SMS or email text, alarm, time, etc as customised by user.

Other reports also suggest that the Galaxy S6 could have a glass back. It may come with 4GB RAM powered with an Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 octa-core 64-bit processor or the Samsung Exynos 7420 chipset.

If rumours are to be believed, the device will sport a 5.5-inch QHD display and 20-megapixel camera on the back and a 5-megapixel camera on the front.

Sources say that Galaxy S6 will come with a non-removable battery. Galaxy S6 may feature metal frames and glass on both the front and the rear panels.

India to be first country for Galaxy E7, E5 smartphones launch

India  will be the first country for Samsung Galaxy E7 and E5 smartphones launch, company's official had said in a recent event.

Welcoming the new year, Samsung India announced the launch of its four new mid-segment smartphones - Galaxy A3, Galaxy A5, Galaxy E5 and Galaxy E7 in India.

"India is the first country for the launch of Galaxy E5 and E7, reaffirming its position as a key market for Samsung globally. The launch of new dual-sim smartphones will further strengthen Samsung's product portfolio in the mid-range segment," Asim Warsi, VP - Marketing, Mobile & IT, Samsung India, had said.

The new range of smartphones will be available from mid-January. Galaxy A3 will be priced at Rs 20,500, A5 at Rs 25,500, Galaxy E5 at Rs 19,300 and E7 at Rs 23,000.
