"Reports in a section of the media about listening devices having been found at my New Delhi residence are highly speculative," Gadkari said on his Twitter account.

Sources close to the Union minister also denied that any such devices were recovered, which a report said were of high- quality and of a type normally used by western agencies.

Although, the saffron party has refused to confirm any reports regarding listening devices being recovered from Gadkari’s residence, Congress has demanded a proper deliberation in the Parliament over this highly-sensitive matter, according to media reports.

While stressing on the constitutional stature of every individual’s ‘Right to Privacy’, Congress has demanded that all the details in this matter should be laid out.
