Jaipur: Walking on thin ice after communal riots in Gopalgarh and Bhanwari case, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot is ready to remove three to five ministers from his Cabinet and introduce some new faces.

According to the sources, the CM along with the Rajasthan Congress in-charge Mukul Vasnik met Congress President Sonia Gandhi to brief about reshuffling in the state Cabinet and placing some new faces.

Assigned with the responsibility to handle few regions of Uttar Pradesh for the forthcoming Assembly election, Gehlot discussed bout the Gopalgarh incidence with senior party leaders and its impact on sensitive parts of UP.

Sources say the party high command is annoyed with Gehlot government over the handling of communal riots in Gopalgarh village and adjoining hamlets in Bharatpur district on September 14, which left 10 persons dead and several other injured. Presently, CBI is probing the matter.
