Tabloids had repeatedly linked D'Souza romancing with Ritesh Deshmukh, ever since they starred together in their debut film ‘Tujhe Meri Kasam’. But the actress kept denying the rumors of a relationship with Deshmukh, and said that she had just friendly terms with the actor. However, the two eventually got married in a Hindu wedding ceremony on February 3, 2012.

Genelia’s last movie before marriage was ‘Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya’ and she is currently shooting for ‘It’s My Life’ which is the Hindi remake of Telugu film ‘Bommarillu’. Jagran Post wishes the star a very happy birthday.
