New Delhi, Jan 23(Agencies): Air passengers can now cancel their tickets up to two hours before and get a refund.
Passengers who have brought non-refundable air-tickets can now reclaim the taxes, fuel surcharges, user development fee and passenger service fee, an English daily reported  in its website on Saturday. Full service airlines have also cut their cancellation fee.

Passengers can get anywhere from Rs 1,300 to Rs 3,800 as refund depending on the distance of the flight.

The decision was taken after talks between airlines and the Civil Aviation Economic Advisory Council, the newspaper said.

The council was first formed in December last year after the airline fares sky rocketed following the Diwali-season.
