Patna, Jan 30(Agencies): Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Sunday earned praise from noted Pakistani ghazal singer Ghulam Ali who lauded him for his efforts towards development and improving the state's law and order situation during the NDA rule since 2005.

"Bihar was undergoing transformation under the able
leadership of Kumar visible in development works around," ghazal singer
said during half-an-hour meeting with the CM at his official residence here.

The Pakistani singer, who was here to perform at a cultural programme, lavished praise on the people of Bihar for their keen interest in music, particularly ghazals.

Nitish Kumar thanked Ali for his visit to the state and informed the latter that the state government was constructing a 5000-seat capacity auditorium to provide a
platform to cultural activities, according to an official statement.
