Gionee Elife E7 has a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS touch screen display based on One Glass Solution from JDI with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and a 2.33mm ultra-narrow frame, powered by a 2.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 MSM8974 processor for the 3G version and the LTE version has a 2.5 GHz quad-core Snapdragon MSM8974AC processor. It runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) with Amigo 2.0 UI.

The USP of this smartphone is its camera. It sports a 16 megapixel camera in the rear and has features like auto makeup effect, intelligent scene recognition, and a meeting memo mode. With these functions, the camera automatically adjusts images and enhances them. It has an 8MP front camera, which the company claims is better than the rear camera on iPhone 5s.

The Elife E7 comes in Meteor Black, Ceramic White, Blue, Green, Orange and Red colors. It is priced at 2,699 Chinese Yuan (Rs 27,665) for the 16GB variant and the 32GB variant is priced at 3,199 Chinese Yuan (Rs 32,790). It would be available for pre-order in China later this month and would go on sale on December 12.
