The GPad G3 features a 5.5-inch FWVGA LCD display having a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels. The display is indeed massive but if someone wishes to have HD quality, it is quite disappointing. In case of Canvas Magnus A117, the phone has a 5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. Since it has an IPS display, Magnus A117 means more rich colours and wider viewing angles.

The Canvas Magnus A117 has a 2000mAh removable battery, which means that it should last about 11-13 hours on a single charge. On the other hand, the GPad G3 comes stuffed with a 2250mAh battery. However, the Gionee made handset has bigger display, so the battery may not last for a longer duration.

The Canvas Magnus A117 has a 12MP rear-facing camera with Auto Focus, LED Flash and a 2MP front-facing camera. The rear-facing camera records videos in HD format, which makes it a better buy at Rs 14,999. The GPad G3 features a 5MP rear-camera with LED Flash and a VGA quality front-facing camera.

Both the phablets have an internal memory of 4GB, and expandable memory of upto 32 GB.
