With the launch of Manchester United limited editions of Chevrolet Beat and SAIL, it marks the debut of Chevrolet brand on the club's jersey.

Various features including Manchester United decals, alloy wheels, special seat covers, and roof rails are the highlights of the special edition models.

United beginning today," General Motors India President and Managing Director Arvind Saxena said in a statement.

The specially designed models, that will cost Rs 69,000 over the original versions, are based on the LS variants (red colour) of Beat and Sail in petrol and diesel options, the company said.

Presently the Beat LS variants in petrol and diesel are available between Rs 4.22 lakh and Rs 5.05 lakh, while Sail LS variants retail between Rs 4.72 and Rs 5.86 lakh (all prices ex-showroom Delhi).

"The two models showcased at the recent 2014 Indian Auto Expo have been designed by our engineers at the General Motors Technical Center India (GMTC-I) in Bangalore on popular customer demand with exclusive Manchester United livery kits," Saxena said.
